Kites
Allison's always had a fascination with kites but we've never actually flown one with her before. I saw that Wal-Mart was selling them for $1 so I picked up a couple and we tried them out in our windy weather we have been having. I think she enjoyed it for the most part but it will be more fun to go to the park or school where we can really run around without worrying about trees and roofs. It also might be easier if mom was helping out instead of trying to take pictures...

How fun! That's cool that Allison likes kites so much. Have you ever seen those kite competitions on youtube? They even do them in sync to music sometimes--you should check them out. Yeah it would definitely be nice to be away from the buildings. I remember flying kites at Ahuimanu park. I don't think I ever really got the hang of it but as a kid I still had fun.
