All by myself

Lauren has hit that delightful stage in life where she absolutely INSISTS on doing everything "all by myself." From getting up into the car to getting dressed, brushing teeth, and even diaper changes. I guess I shouldn't complain about her growing independence...if only she was actually able to DO the things she insists on doing without any help. For now it just means taking at least twice as long to get anything done around here. She is pretty stubborn about it, but after several unsuccesful attempts at something, she will eventually humble herself and ask for help...I just have to remember to plan extra time for everything.

Oh, that wonderful age.... We are in the midst of it, also, and only about sixteen times a day I WANT TO PULL MY HAIR OUT!

What a cutie! but I can see how that can be frustrating!
Thank you for the blog comment! Those were some really nice pointers. I didn't think about damaged strollers/carseats etc.

We're chuckling over here--it sounds so cute! But it's amazing to hear the things you have to allow extra time for! Hopefully this will be a short phase? :)
