Megan

In preparation for Megan's annual Riley visit, Matt took this video to show that she really does know how to talk (she tends to be a little---or maybe a LOT shy for strangers). Turns out, she did end up talking for the speech therapist so we didn't need the video. But we think it's pretty funny, so I thought I would share. It's about 5 1/2 minutes long.

PS- Megan's Riley visit was great, she is doing just fine with everything and we're good to go for another year.

Trick-or-Treat

Some pictures of this year's Halloween fun...

Allison LOVES the feel of pumpkin guts. Lauren, not so much.

2 Vampires, 1 Rapunzel and a Batman

Trick or Treat!

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Last weekend Matt and I surprised Allison and Lauren with a trip to Chicago. It's so nice to be close enough to enjoy the big city from time to time.

Waiting for the train

On our way to see Mary Poppins

A walk through the park

They were pretty pooped after a long, long day, but it was a blast to spend the day together and the show was so much fun!

Growing Boy

Remember this little guy? Hard to believe this was only 4 1/2 months ago...

Look at him now!

Miracles never cease

If you know Megan, you probably know why this represents a major milestone for her!

Galena

If you're wondering what a Galena is...well, we didn't know either. Until we planned a trip there. For my 30th birthday, Matt surprised me with a getaway for 2 (+1). We ended up finding a great deal on a place in this quaint little town in the northwest corner of Illinois. A big thanks goes out to Jason & Kristin for taking care of 3 extra kids that week! It was a great, relaxing, not-much-planned sort of trip. You know, the kind of vacation that you don't need a vacation after. If that makes any sense. Here are some pictures of our adventure...

Mr. Ben

Benjamin's a growing boy! At 3 months he has doubled his weight and keeps on going. I'm just going to look through my more recent photos and post a few here for you to see...Ready, go!
