O Christmas Tree

This weekend we continued our family tradition of cutting down a christmas tree at Hensler Nursery. It was a bit cold and snowy but we seemed to time it just right because the snow took a break while we were there. Along with christmas trees, they have some animals to visit (including reindeer) and a few things for kids to play on. (They also have a gift shop, etc but we didn't even go in there this time). It is always so hard to pick the perfect tree but Matt found a nice full tree for us. Good job, Matt! Here are some pictures of the event...

Allison was assigned to give a talk today in primary about her favorite family christmas tradition and she talked about getting a christmas tree. If you are interested, you can read her talk below. She is still a bit young to write her talks all by herself but the parts that are highlighted are all hers. She colored the picture of the tree for her talk as well.

Ok...you are going to have to wait on the pictures of the talk because we must have left it at church! Sorry.

That reindeer looks a lot more authentic than the puny little thing we visited when you were here last Christmas.
