Last Friday Megan turned 6 months old!! My how time flies!

The "magic ball" as grandma Tew likes to call it. Yes, I think both grandmas will agree that this is an important object in our home. Ever since Megan was very small this has been the best tool to soothe her. She loves it when you sit on the ball and bounce with her in your arms. I highly recommend it to anyone with little babies! Now that Megan has learned to fall asleep in her crib on her own, we don't use it nearly as much, but I still sit on it for feedings.

FEET!! (need I say more?)

Sleep sacks. Basically a blanket with sleeves that zips on. I love these things! And since Megan has figured out how to not only kick off her blankets but also wiggle her legs out of the snaps in her footie jammies, these have become essential for keeping warm at night.

Crib toys. We started out with a mobile but have graduated to this thing... the "Ocean Wonders Aquarium." Basically it helps Megan be distracted enough that mom and dad can leave her in her crib and fall asleep on her own.

Duck blanket. Not only good for keeping Megan warm at night, but she loves to play with and suck on the little fleece ties on the edges.

Soft toys. Pretty much any thing that Megan can play with and (more importantly) get into her mouth is a good thing.

Rolling. Megan is on a roll these days! She has figured out how to get around by rolling over and over and over until she is on the other side of the room.

Song and dance. It seems to me that Megan enjoys listening to music. She stays pretty happy playing on the floor while I play the piano for the girls. And she squeels with delight when we dance together, listening to the radio (and no, I will not be posting a video of this).

Exersaucer! Whoever invented these things is a genius! Keeps babies entertained for a good amount of time. What more can I say?

Sisters. Megan loves her sisters and her sisters love her. She gets happy just watching them play and Lauren is a pro at giving hugs and kisses.
