This Christmas I found an extra special treat in my stocking--no, not a candy cane--but an overnight trip for 2 to the windy city. Matt made all the arrangements so the two of us could spend 27 hours together WITHOUT ANY KIDS! Ok, don't get me wrong, we like our kids and all...but it is nice to get a break once in a while! Yesterday afternoon we hopped on a train to downtown Chicago and didn't come back til this evening. It was a bit rainy, and it truly was a windy city, but it was great nonetheless. And yes, the children did have a babysitter at home to take care of them :) Thanks for great time, dear! Here are a few pictures we captured on the cell phone...
