Megan had her surgery yesterday and everything went very well. She had an impression made for a new obturator, the bone graft, and tubes put in her ears. The doctors seemed pleased with the results and she continues to get better. Megan was released from the hospital this morning and we are home now, where she seems to be much happier. We will be returning to Riley on Monday for a follow-up visit, and until then just making sure she drinks and sleeps lots, and keeps stuff out of her mouth. She is not too excited about the arm restraints but can still crawl and pull up just fine with them on. She's a little trooper! Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers!

I can't believe I'm watching a happy Megan crawling around on the floor like nothing happened!!! Now that's a tough cookie!! I'm so glad to hear she's doing so well, and especially that she's happy to be home. That's a really sweet pic of her at the hospital with her dad, too. Keep us posted!
Wow, she had surgery two days ago? She seems to be bouncing back just fine! We're so happy for her.
