Megan's second surgery is coming up in just a couple days. On Wednesday, Megan will be having a primary bone graft, meaning she will have a small piece of her rib grafted into the gap in her gum line to close it up. I think we are feeling a little more prepared this time just because we know better what to expect. However, Megan is older this time, and the surgery is different. So I'm sure it will be a little different experience. We're grateful that my mom is here to help out and will be home to take care of Allison and Lauren for a couple days while we are in Indianapolis. We go down tomorrow (Tuesday) and will hopefully be back home by Thursday evening. Although it is never easy, we are confident that the doctors and staff at Riley will take good care of our Megan. We have been impressed with the care we have received so far! Thanks to everyone for your continuing prayers and support in her behalf! We will keep you updated as we go along.
