We decided to take the kids to a
Silverhawks game on Saturday. Although they didn't do to well :/ we had a fun time and some great seats. It was half-price ticket day so a pretty good deal! Too bad the snacks weren't half-price too! (Yeah right!) It was nice sitting in the front row because there was a little extra space and Megan got to walk around a little to stay entertained. At one point early on in the game, a couple of ducks came flying into the stadium and landed in the field right in front of us. The kids had a fun time watching them and Megan especially...she kept quacking at them. When they finally decided to fly away, she kept asking, "quack quack? quack quack?" not sure where they had gone off to. Lauren started getting tired after a while and kept asking to go use the restroom (a way to get up and walk around I guess). So by the end of it we had made 4 trips to the restroom. But we all had a good time and it was fun to be together.

Not a bad view

Enjoying the game with Dad

Megan liked smashing all the peanut shells

Lauren shows us her big blue eyes

Allison took this picture...the kids must have thought this was pretty funny because they kept pointing out the ball that was stuck up there.

Megan watches the game
If you look carefully you can see the ducks in the field. I was having a hard time taking a picture since the camrea really wanted to focus on the netting instead.

Totally! Looks like a fun game, and I loved the story about Megan and the ducks. :)
Oh fun. Sounds like they did pretty good.
