Happy Holidays!!

Oh my....where did the last 2 months go?? Well, if anyone is still reading here... Here is a recap of our Christmas break (better late than never)!

Over Christmas we were lucky enough to have Grandpa and Grandma Tew come visit! It was fun to have them here. Especially since Grandpa still had not met Megan yet!! It was a nice break for everyone. G&G flew into Chicago where Matt and Allison met up with them and showed them the sights, sounds, and tastes of the windy city.

Christmas day was exciting...Santa surprised Allison and Lauren with a doll house and a rocking horse for Megan. How fun! The best part is always watching the expressions on the kids faces!

Here are some pictures of the kids playing in the snow with Grandpa...It's a little colder (and whiter) here in Indiana than it is in Louisiana. The snow was really dry, so their snow man ended up being a snow-ball man instead :)

Before we dropped Grandma & Grandpa off in Chicago at the end of their trip, we stopped at Lincoln Park Zoo to check out their "Zoo Lights" exhibit. It was fun to see the zoo all lit up and a few animals here and there. It was pretty cold that night, but we bundled up and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera that night so I didn't get any pictures but here are a couple I took off the zoo website :)

For New Years Matt's brother David and his family visited us from Cleveland. It was nice to spend a few days hanging out and catching up. The kids loved having their cousins come play with them.
