FFA Week

Julie is asleep and I am watching Olympics, so I thought I would post something. I don't know if this happens at anyone else's school but here in rural Indiana we have a pretty strong FFA (Future Farmers of America) organization. Well this week is National FFA week. What that means is there are a number of activities at school. This includes Tractor day where the students can drive their tractor to school. Most of the tractors that show up are very large. There is the annual teacher breakfast. This is perhaps the best day of the year. We have had steak and eggs, made to order omelets, bacon, bacon, and more bacon. Tomorrow will close the week with a petting zoo. (most of the animals are ones the students have raised). In preparation for taking Megan to the petting zoo we have a little video to show her FFA support. Enjoy!
