When we bought our house 2 years ago it needed a lot of work. After a full summer of fixing it up we were ready to move in...but there are still little projects lingering here and there (as I am sure every homeowner has). Matt and Allison worked hard this weekend to finish up our entry by painting it. I am pretty excited about it. Here are some pictures of the transformation...
Here is what it looked like the first time we walked through. This is not a very good picture but the best I have. The entry is straight back, and there was a closet there where those dog leashes are hanging.
This is the "during" picture. Same view as before (but closer up) with the closet ripped out and wallpaper torn down, etc. You can see where the closet was by the unfinished lines on the wall. Matt became an electrician during this project and rewired some of the switches, etc. He has become quite the handyman.
Here Matt and Allison are painting this weekend.
And here is the finished product.

Wow, that looks great! It's cool that Matt has become such a great handyman! A helpful talent to have as a homeowner, I'm sure.
Now I know just where to look for the help I am sure we are going to be needing when we settle in somewhere. So glad you are getting all these things done....love the colors!
