Sleep

Thanks everyone for your suggestions about sleeping solutions. I thought I should post a follow-up on it... For the most part, Megan still does much of her sleeping in the car seat, which seems to suit her fine at this point. But we have also tried lowering one side of her crib and it seems to work ok too. She sometimes naps in there and we haven't had any problems yet--the carseat is just more convenient right now because we can put it wherever we want. She is doing great at night and usually wakes once in the middle of the night to eat and goes right back to sleep...what a good baby!

Snug as a bug...

And I decided to throw this one in of Lauren. I peeked in on her nap the other day and thought she was cute sleeping with her book and all. If only we could get her to go to sleep at night--ever since she moved out of the crib she and Allison have been such a joy to put to bed. Lauren likes to get out of bed and bug her sister for probably a good hour before settling down (usually this includes a few trips back there from Mom and Dad to scold them).

Also, we are happy to report that Megan is eating well and growing lots. She is hovering around 9 pounds already! Way to go, Megan!!

It is a blessing that Megan is sleeping and growing so well. You have done such a good job of introducing Allison & Lauren to the world of books. --So unlike the children I teach every day who say "I hate to read" and whose only goal is to "grow up and win the lottery!"

Megan looks so cute all wrapped up and snug! I'm glad to hear that she's sleeping so well and that she's growing a bunch. It's awesome that Lauren loves reading so much--such a cute picture, too!
