Indy visit

We headed down to Indy once again for a Riley visit this week. Normally Megan's appointments are on Mondays since that's when the craniofacial clinic works together, but since this one was just to check her ear tubes with ENT, we were able to go on a different day of the week. Whenever we go down we try to find something fun for the kids to do there and have wanted to check out the childrens museum but since it is closed on Mondays, it has never been an option. So, we took advantage of the opportunity and spent the afternoon at the museum on Wednesday. We lucked out and found $5 off coupons, ordered tickets online, and didn't even have to wait in line (highly recommended)! The kids had fun and were pretty worn out by the end of it all. Their favorite part? The carousel ride, of course!

Weeeeeeee!

And, for those of you who are wondering, Megan is doing great. She did much better on her hearing test this time. One of her tubes has a clot in it so we are doing a simple treatment for that and hopefully it will clear out soon. In another month or so we will go back for a checkup and plan for her next surgery...poor girl. She is a real trooper though and bounces back so fast! We are so grateful for your many thoughts and prayers in her behalf and know that she is being watched over.

This is my FAVORITE museum!! We had season passes when we were in Indianapolis for the summer and it was the best buy ever. I was so excited to see those pictures b/c I remember all those places. Where your kids scared of the dinos--the ones that move around and make noises? My kids were terrified!!-

Lauren did get scared during the "thunderstorm" with the dinosaurs

I'm glad to hear that Megan is still doing good, and that the clot is only a minor issue. I bet she loves being able to hear more clearly! Yay! That girl is one tough cookie...

The children's museum looks so cool! The miniature collection would be neat to see...
