We figured out a long time ago that Allison is left-handed. There's no question about it. Occasionally she will use her right hand to cut with scissors, etc. but she always writes with her left. With Lauren, however, it has been a little hard to tell. She switches back and forth between right and left. Lately, though, she has definitely been using the left more consistently. Is it possible that
both of them are lefties? I mean, I'm sure it's POSSIBLE but it seems so strange. Where did we go wrong?? (Just kidding, Mom :) Matt and I are both right-handed.

That would be so cool!! I wonder what the odds are. At what age do kids usually decide on the right or left?
how cool is that!! I'm sure granma Tew is really proud :)
Haha Lori & Evisa. I'm not so sure Matt & Julie think left-handedness is something to aspire to! But then everybody knows left-handers and smarter & more talented, yeah? :)
With my father, only full-blooded sibling, and wife all lefties, and now apparently at least two of three grandchildren, I'm left (no pun intended)to wonder how none of our four children ended up as lefties.
Dad, I didn't know that Grandpa and Lynette were both lefties! Makes sense, then, that Allison and Lauren are lefties, too. It's all over the gene pool! Julie, does Matt have lefties in his family? I was reading that handedness is a combo of genes and environment. And, Mom, lefties *are* generally more creative. :)
Only one lefty on our side of the family and that is Nate...I have a sister who is a lefty but do not know further back. Maybe it is a good question to ask at the next gathering of the clans. It would be a great thesis for a paper I suppose.
What a great idea, turning the subject into a paper!
