At the age of two, Lauren is now officially a "big girl". We celebrated by eating a teddy bear, jumping on the bed, and going fishing. And what birthday would be complete without a visit to the doctor's office? With sympathies to Jackson, we have also had our share of the flu (sorry if we gave it to you...looks like these cousins are good at sharing). But it didn't keep us from having a fun day. So far Lauren is doing pretty well with her big-girl bed, although it didn't take long for her to figure out her new freedom. As for the new pet fish, Allison has taken the liberty of naming it "Rainbow Red Fish", but if you ask Lauren, she will tell you its name is "Fish".
Watch Lauren try to blow out her candles.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LAUREN! It seems like you guys and especially Lauren had a great day! So cute! That cake looks delicious and very artistic too. Wow!! I'm really impressed Julie. The Nemo Cake and now the Teddy Bear Cake, that's so awesome. And Lauren is so cute blowing out her candles. How sweet!
Nice cake! I'll have to figure out how to do that one of these days. I'm glad you didn't let your girls' hair catch on fire! Such a good mom. Happy birthday to Matt too in a few days!
Good times. Yeah, we definitely have a chicken or the egg dilemma with all of these sick kids. Not sure who gave what, to who, and when. (There were probably supposed to be a few "whoms" in there, but I don't get that technical.) Jackson got a red beta fish a few years ago. First his name was "Red", then "Fish", then "Pet", and we now call him "Johnny". Ah, the evolution of names!
Looks like I better make an appointment at the Dr because Logan is getting sick already. Cousins can get other cousins sick on Blogs I guess. Hopefully he can feel better by monday. Logan likes to "Dance" on the bed meaning jump!
Your cake is perfect!! Looks like a good birthday, Happy Birthday to Matt on Monday as well.
Hey Julie-
Remember me? It's Joanna Miller (Wilkins). I got to your blog through my sister Melissa's. It's so fun to see what you've been up to. What cute kids! Congrats on the next one too! I'm glad that you're enjoying Indiana and that you're doing well.
~Joanna
